After The New York Times report, Trump claims to have paid millions in taxes

Investigation of the newspaper revealed that the president spent 11 years without paying taxes to the government.

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, responded on Monday (28) to a report published by The New York Times and claimed to have paid “millions of dollars in taxes”.

According to tax information obtained by the newspaper, over the period from 2000 to 2017, for both the president and his companies, Trump did not pay any income tax in 10 of the 15 years evaluated, largely because he declared more losses than revenues.
