With a 20-year career and 15 Grammy awards, there is no doubt about the talent of singer Alicia Keys, 39, who this week released her new album, “Alicia”. Despite this, she revealed that music was not the right path in her career and that, had it not been for her, it would have ended in prostitution or drugs.
“I’m the one who shouldn’t be leaving Hell’s Kitchen [in New York, USA], who should end up being a prostitute, a young mother at 16 or a drug addict. I am the one who should have been in the wrong place at the wrong time and was injured or killed, ”said the artist in an interview with the Guardian newspaper.
