Portugal beats Croatia when starts its defense of the League of Nations
The Portuguese football team beat Croatia 4-1 today, meeting the first round of Group 3, League A, of League of Nations in football, at Estádio do Dragão, in Porto, behind closed doors.
João Cancelo, at 41 minutes, Diogo Jota, at 58, João Félix, at 70, and André Silva, at 90 + 5, scored the goals of the title holders, leading the group, seconded by France, winning 1-0 in Sweden, while Bruno Petkovic scored for the Croats, at 90 + 1.
After today’s match, Portugal will play against Sweden (Tuesday, in Solna) and France (October 11, in Saint-Denis). Them will receive Swedes (October 14, in Alvalade) and Gauls (November 14, in Luz) and closes with Croatia (November 17, in Split).
