China has diagnosed 61 more cases of covid-19 in the past 24 hours, including 41 in the Xinjiang region and 14 in Liaoning province, Chinese officials said today.
The outbreaks, recorded in Xinjiang and Liaoning, occurred through local transmission, as well as two more cases diagnosed in Jilin province.
Xinjiang is in the extreme northwest of China, while Liaoning and Jilin are neighboring provinces, located in the northeast of the country.
