The MOxAdTech mask has been certified by the Institute of Molecular Medicine. It has been on sale in Portugal since April.
The MOxAdTech mask has been on sale since April but now, after surpassing the tests carried out by the João Lobo Antunes Institute of Molecular Medicine (iMM), it is announced as “the first mask capable of inactivating the virus that causes covid-19 ”.
Entirely made in Portugal, MOxAd-Tech was initially the result of cooperation between manufacturer Adalberto, Sonae Fashion’s MO fashion retailer, iMM, the CITEVE technological center, and the University of Minho, thus assuming itself as the first mask that inactivates the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
