At least 18 US sailors were injured in the wake of an explosion followed by a fire on board a US Navy ship in San Diego, California.
According to a lieutenant colonel, quoted by CNN, USS Bonhomme sailors had “minor injuries” caused by fire on board the vessel.
On the site are several fire brigades trying to extinguish the fire. The causes of the explosion were not explained.
