Live online selling is not a miracle solution
This year 2020 the competition in live online sales is growing like never before.
At a time when the commerce and tourism industries are heavily affected by the pandemic, live trading on online platforms is seen as the best solution.
We constantly see references in the Media to brands and products that sell out in seconds, with sales reaching over RMB 100 million. This type of trade emerges in contrast to the bankruptcy of traditional stores; that fight against the sales deficit and the excess of stock, in view of the low level of consumption of society in general. However, it remains to be seen whether direct sales are – or not – a sustainable method.
