Barcelona announces sale of Arthur to Juventus for 72 million euros
Barcelona announced on Monday the sale for the next season of Brazilian midfielder Arthur to Juventus for 72 million euros, in addition to 10 million euros in possible goals.
The operation, which according to the local press will also include the departure of Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic to Barcelona, promises to be one of the biggest transactions in the mid-year transfer window, in a market that is likely to be hit hard by the new coronavirus crisis, that paralyzed European football for about three months.
The 23-year-old, who spent two years in Spain, “will stay in Barcelona until the end of the official competitions of the 2019-2020 season”, whose schedule was postponed due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus.
