UNITA is betting on candidacies of women for the municipalities, said this Thursday the president of LIMA, the women’s organization of that party, in the region, Filomena Febe.
Speaking during the opening act of the Preparatory Provincial Conference of the IV Ordinary LIMA Congress, Filomena Febe reaffirmed the realization of municipalities in all municipalities in the country. In the framework of the Provincial Conference, Filomena Febe said that for two days, the event will elect 50 delegates to the LIMA Ordinary Congress, to be held in Luanda, later this year.
The first UNITA secretary in Bié, Adérito Jaime Candumbo, highlighted the contribution of the women’s organization in the region and encouraged the fight against social inequalities.
