Travels to Luanda begin at the end of the month

Passenger travel to and from Luanda begins on June 30, subject to confirmation by health authorities, and the covid-19 test is required eight days before the date of travel.

A Joint Executive Decree of the Ministries of Interior, Transport, Health and Culture, Tourism and Environment regulates, within the scope of the Declaration of the Situation of Public Disaster, for the prevention and risk of the spread of the SARS-VOC-2 virus and the pandemic covid-19, the return to the country of nationals and foreigners, holders of residence permit, refugee card, investor, work, study and temporary stay visas.

The document, published in Diário da República, on June 12, regulates the return to the country of resident nationals and foreigners, the travel of foreign citizens to their respective countries, official trips, entry and exit of cargo, merchandise and postal orders, humanitarian aid, medical emergencies, technical scales, entry and exit of diplomatic and consular personnel and transfer of corpses, with up to two companions admissible, except the deceased affected by covid-19, whose transfer is prohibited.

The Angolan authorities state that the covid-19 test must be administered by entities duly certified by the health authority of the country of origin.
