Announcement Happens As Americans Protest Black Man’s Death
Michael Jordan and Jordan Brand, a brand linked to the former player but who belongs to Nike, promised on Friday (5) to donate US $ 100 million (R $ 469.7 million) for the next ten years to organizations dedicated to racial equality, justice social and education.
The announcement of the donation comes as the United States has followed protests over the death of George Floyd, 46, asphyxiated by a police officer who has been kneeling on his neck for nearly nine minutes.
