The wave of protests against racism in the United States continues, and several celebrities have already stood up for them. Actor Cole Sprouse, for example, revealed on Monday (June 1st) that he was arrested during an anti-racist demonstration in Santa Monica, California.
“They gave us the option of leaving and made it clear that if we didn’t back down, we would be arrested. When many turned around to leave, we found another line of police blocking the way and then began to handcuff us with seals. It needs to be said that, as a white heterosexual and public figure, the consequences of my incarceration are nothing compared to those of other members of this movement, ”he said on his Instagram profile, reporting the incident.
