The Endeavor capsule arrived at the International Space Station

The astronauts named their capsule Endeavor in honor of the shuttle that both traveled more than ten years ago. The American capsule docked at the ISS at 15:30.

American astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken have already docked at the International Space Station (ISS). This was a fully automated procedure: they would only intervene if there was a problem. NASA astronauts are in orbit aboard the Dragon capsule – launched on the rocket flying Falcon-9 from Florida Kennedy Space Center on Saturday.

The capsule was built and is operated by a private company, SpaceX – which is the first in the history of manned space flights.
