Covid-19 death toll rises to 350,000 worldwide

The new coronavirus pandemic has killed at least 350,608 people and has infected more than 5.6 million worldwide since December, according to an AFP agency report based on official country data.

According to the data collected by the French news agency until 11:00 today, at least 350,608 people have died and there are more than 5,605,020 infected in 196 countries and territories since the beginning of the epidemic in December 2019 in the city Chinese from Wuhan.

However, AFP warns that the number of diagnosed cases reflects only a fraction of the actual total infections, as some countries are testing only serious cases, and others use the test as a priority for screening, and many poor countries have only capacity limited tracking.
