Jacinda Ardern’s quiet posture adds to praise for response to coronavirus
The good reputation of Jacinda Ardern, Prime Minister of New Zealand, largely won by her response to the coronavirus pandemic, gained more points on Monday (25).
An earthquake hit the country’s capital, Wellington, while the New Zealand prime minister gave a live interview to a TV station. “We’re just having a little earthquake here. A pretty decent shake. If you see things moving behind me, [it’s because] Beehive [Parliament building] moves more than most places,” said Ardern, smiling and waving at the camera.
