The state of São Paulo reached 6,045 deaths confirmed by a new coronavirus this Saturday, 23. The number of confirmed cases is 80,558, distributed in 505 municipalities in São Paulo, according to the balance of the State Health Secretary.
In the last 24 hours, the state recorded 272 new deaths. In all, 236 cities in São Paulo had a confirmed death related to covid-19.
According to the secretariat, 11,900 patients with suspicion or confirmation of the disease are hospitalized in São Paulo, of which 4,674 are in ICU beds. The average occupancy of the exclusive ICU for covid-19 is 73.7% in the State, but reaches 89.2% in Grande São Paulo.
