The UK has recorded 468 new deaths caused by covid-19 in the past 24 hours, adding up to a total of 34466 since the start of the pandemic.
The British Ministry of Health said that 3451 new infections were detected, totaling 240,161 people sick with the new coronavirus in the United Kingdom since the beginning of the crisis.
The new data was released at a time when the controversy surrounding the plan to gradually lift the restrictions associated with the covid-19 pandemic, defended by the Government of Boris Johnson, is growing.
