Sanitary fence imposed on streets in Hoji-ya-Henda neighborhood in Luanda

Families residing on Marcovi and São José streets, in the urban district of Hoji-ya-Henda, Cazenga municipality, in Luanda, have been placed, since yesterday, in a sanitary fence, due to the five cases of local transmission from Covid-19.

The sanitary fence in that area of the country’s capital began in the early hours of yesterday, after on Sunday the Multisectoral Commission had identified more than 75 contacts in “case 31” – a citizen of Guinea-Conakry who has already infected five people in the neighborhood, where inhabit many West African citizens who are mainly engaged in trade.
