After all, there is still a great lack of knowledge about the virus and the disease it causes.
As covid-19 spreads worldwide and the number of patients continues to increase – there are now more than three million infected people and 208,000 have died – doctors have been facing other serious consequences of the infection, which can cover different vital organs, such as the heart, kidneys, liver and central nervous system and the brain, in addition to the most well-known effect of the disease, which is pneumonia.
