In Rio, the Jockey Club has been closed since March 19, but has announced that it will reopen on May 3, also without public presence and taking care to prevent the spread of covid-19. Only “jockeys and apprentices, trainers, stables and autonomous veterinarians with horses registered under their responsibility will be allowed, and the use of protective masks” is mandatory.
