The Italian driver Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) won today an eventful Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix, the sixth round of the season, and cemented his leadership of the Drivers’ World Championship.
Antonelli, who started from pole position, beat the British driver Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari) by 6.271 seconds, with the French driver Isack Hadjar (Red Bull) finishing in third place, 23.394 seconds behind.

With this fifth consecutive victory, the Italian driver now has 156 points, a 66-point advantage over Lewis Hamilton, who climbed up to the second position in the standings.
