The Labor Affairs Bureau (DSAL) will once again promote the “Internship Program to Create Better Job Prospects” this year, an initiative designed to facilitate the integration of recent graduates into the labor market and enhance their professional skills.
As part of the “1+4” strategy for the appropriate diversification of the economy of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), the program offers 850 internship positions across 77 companies in various sectors. Applications will be accepted from June 3 to July 3 via the Macao One Account.
The internships will last three months and cover nine sectors considered priorities, including tourism and leisure, finance, technology, Big Health, social services, retail, construction, public utilities, and air transport. About 46% of the positions do not require academic training in a specific field.
The opportunities are spread across 15 functional areas, including marketing, administration, finance, information technology, data analysis, customer service, front-line operations, food service, logistics, facilities management, communications, business development, construction, and care services.

Some of the positions require the internship to be completed in mainland China, primarily in Zhuhai and the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, with a focus on roles related to the technology sector.
Eligible applicants are Macau residents holding a valid Identity Card who have completed a bachelor’s degree or higher academic degree at higher education institutions in Macau or abroad after 2024. The DSAL notes that priority will be given to recent graduates.
The internship does not constitute an employment relationship. Participants will be entitled to a monthly stipend of 8,000 patacas (851.52 euros), or the equivalent amount in renminbi where applicable, as well as insurance coverage during the training period.
Each applicant may choose up to two internship positions. The second option will only be considered if the applicant is not selected for the first. After submitting the application, interested parties will receive a confirmation notification via SMS.
Interviews are scheduled to begin on July 6, and candidates will be contacted directly by the participating companies. The final list of accepted candidates will be published on August 10 on the DSAL website.
Applications must be submitted online only, and spots are limited. For more information, please visit the DSAL website or call the service hotline.
