Catalan singer Rosalía is performing today in Lisbon, marking the first of two concerts in Portugal for her latest album “Lux”, which features a duet with Portuguese fado singer Carminho.
The “Lux” tour continues in Lisbon on Thursday at the MEO Arena, as announced on Rosalía’s social media last December. The album’s 18 tracks were recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Daníel Bjarnason, and include collaborations with artists such as Björk, Estrella Morente, Silvia Pérez Cruz, the Escolania de Montserrat, and Yahritza.

Rosalía first performed in Portugal in 2017 at Theatro Circo, presenting her debut album Los Angeles. She returned in 2019 for Primavera Sound with El Mal Querer, which fused flamenco with pop and brought her international recognition, including collaborations with Bad Bunny, Arca, J. Balvin, and James Blake. Her 2022 album Motomami won the Grammy for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album, with live shows in Lisbon and Braga.
The “Lux” tour, which began in France with concerts in Lyon and Paris, will also include dates in Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, the UK, the USA, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, and Puerto Rico.
