American singer Britney Spears was arrested on the night of Wednesday, March 4, in southern California, after being caught drunk driving (DUI), according to a report by TMZ.
Spears, 44, was detained by the California Highway Patrol at around 21:30 local time on Wednesday (05:30 Thursday morning in Lisbon), and was released nine hours later (14:00 in mainland Portugal).
