US president Donald Trump demanded Iran’s “unconditional surrender” today and said he intends to be involved in both the choice of the country’s future leaders and its reconstruction.

“There will be no deal with Iran, only an UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER! After that, and the choosing of one or more GREAT AND ACCEPTABLE Leaders, with many wonderful and very courageous partners and allies, we will work tirelessly to rebuild Iran, making it economically bigger, better and stronger than ever before,” Trump wrote on his social network Truth Social, using capital letters as is his custom.

“MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN!” he added, adapting his campaign slogan “Make America Great Again” to Iran.
