By taking the opportunity to pay New Year’s greetings to the public, Sam said he aims to personally hear their opinions on government policies. Sam Hou Fai pointed out that listening to radio programs is one of the ways the government gauges public opinion.
In the future, the authorities will continue to broaden communication channels and are currently studying the possibility of organizing more interactive activities to better understand the thoughts of young people and different community groups, which is crucial for Macao’s sustainable development.
Furthermore, he also encouraged officials at all levels to increase communication with the public in order to accurately grasp the public sentiment and effectively carry out tasks that improve people’s livelihoods.
