According to presidential orders consulted by Lusa on Monday, the largest tranche, worth €249 million, is intended for the design and construction of infrastructure integrated into the Cabo Ledo tourism development project, a popular summer resort located about two kilometres from Luanda.
The other €200 million in financing will be used for the design and construction of infrastructure for tourism projects in Baía do Quicombo, in the province of Cuanza Sul, and in the bays of Pipas, Três Irmãos, and Tômbwa, in the province of Namibe.
The Minister of Tourism, Márcio Daniel, is responsible for approving and validating contracts under these simplified procurement procedures, based on material criteria.
