The “New Year’s Concert – Macau 2025” will take place at Sai Van Lake Square (22:00-00:10), featuring performances by Panther Chan and Dear Jane from Hong Kong, as well as local artists such as Soler and Filipe Tou. According to the radio station Ou Mun Tin Toi, authorities expect around 10,000 attendees.
Simultaneously, the “New Year’s Eve Party – Taipa 2025” will be held (starting at 21:00). Highlights include performances by Hong Kong singer Karen Tong and celebrations of Macau’s cultural diversity, featuring groups from the Filipino, Indian, Burmese, and Vietnamese communities, along with exhibits showcasing traditional attire and cuisine. Local music will also be part of the entertainment, featuring FIDA and Tuna Macaense.
Both events will not include fireworks. Entry to the venues will be restricted for dangerous or bulky items, and there will be no storage service available. Traffic control measures and partial parking closures are expected in the surrounding areas starting in the afternoon/evening of December 31. Organizers are encouraging the use of public transportation, which will have increased services after the events.
