Historic Sun Yat-sen home in Macau set for repairs backed by Taiwan: Report

A Macau museum dedicated to the founder of the Republic of China is reportedly set to receive funding from Taiwan’s Mainland Affairs Council for renovation.

As Storm Media reported, the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial House in Macau is wholly owned by the Taiwanese authorities, with its ownership currently registered in Singapore and belonging to an entity called APHS.

Its perceived historical significance earned this three-storey establishment pride of place on an official website detailing the city’s heritage.
