Roger GARCIA — Director of IFC and Mentor, Hong Kong

Roger Garcia is a festival executive, producer and writer whose career spans Asia, Europe and Hollywood. He has led the Hong Kong International Film Festival, the Asian Film Awards Academy and the Hainan Island International Film Festival. Also a critic published in BFI and Cahiers du Cinéma, he was awarded Chevalier des Arts et Lettres and is a member of the European Film Academy.
John CHONG — Chief Mentor, Hong Kong

John Chong is a veteran producer and co-founder of Media Asia Entertainment Group with nearly 40 years in film. He has served as Chairman of the Hong Kong Screenwriters’ Guild and as a member of the Film Development Council. As a screenwriter, producer and presenter, he has worked on more than 100 films, including Infernal Affairs, Initial D, Beast Cops, Z Storm and Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In.
Anthony CHEN — Mentor, Singapore

Anthony Chen is a writer, director and producer from Singapore. His short Ah Ma (2007) was the first Singaporean film recognised at Cannes. His debut Ilo Ilo (2013) won the Camera d’Or and over 40 awards, including four Golden Horse. Later films include Wet Season (2019), Drift (2023) and The Breaking Ice (2023). Through Giraffe Pictures, he has also produced films across Asia.
CHAN Hing Kai — Mentor, Hong Kong

Chan Hing Kai is a screenwriter, director and producer with nearly three decades of experience. He is Head of the Film Division at Media Asia Group. He won Best Screenplay at the Hong Kong Film Awards for Beast Cops (1998) and twice at the Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards. His recent producing credits include Weeds on Fire (2016), Manhunt (2017) and Love Lies (2024).
CHEN Daming — Mentor, China

Chen Daming is a writer and director. His Manhole (2004) was praised by Variety magazine, while One Foot Off the Ground (2006) received a Golden Rooster Award. He directed What Women Want (2010) with Andy Lau and Gong Li, and more recently Unspoken (2023) and Moscow Mission. A graduate of the Beijing Film Academy, he has been Artistic Director of the Shanghai Vancouver Film School and teaches at the Shanghai Film Academy.
