The Lusofonia Festival will take place from October 24 to November 2, as part of the 7th Encounter in Macau – Arts and Cultural Festival between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries. This year will highlight Angolan culture, featuring performances by well-known artists like Marisa Liz (formerly of Amor Electro) on November 1 and Calema from São Tomé and Príncipe on October 25.
Other performers include Rui Orlando from Angola, Memu Sunhu from Guinea-Bissau, Josslyn from Cape Verde, Galaxy from East Timor, and several others from various Portuguese-speaking regions.
Starting at 7:30 PM each night, local musicians will also perform at the Taipa Houses Museum, with a range of activities, including traditional games, handicrafts, and culinary experiences from different cultures. The event, is organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau in partnership with the Galaxy Entertainment Group.
