Sands China’s July-August campaign of fun summer activities for team members and their families provided them with opportunities to enjoy a memorable time together during the summer holiday.
This year’s Sands China Amazing Summer 2024 provided team members with a variety of fun parent-child activities, including a large-scale parent-child painting, art and science workshops, fun fair, storytelling, kids book crossing, and back-of-house property tours.
Now in its seventh edition, the annual Amazing Summer campaign is part of Sands China’s ongoing commitment to the well-being and quality of life of its team members, both at work and at home.
Over 3,300 participants to date have enjoyed wonderful moments with their families at Amazing Summer activities.

Sands China Amazing Summer 2024 featured:
- Sands China Summer Fair – Games, hairstyling and face-painting booths, and workshops on cooking, arts, and science
- Little Artist – Under the guidance of an instructor, families were able to make their own wind chimes
- Little Scientist – Kids explored culture and learned to make a rotating lantern under the guidance of an instructor
- Shine Like a Star – Parents learned how to put performance makeup on their kids so they can shine like a star on stage
- It’s Time to Work – Team members explored the company’s back-of-house areas with their children and introduced them to their workplace
- Picnic and Paint – Parents escaped the city with their children to customise their own little tent and enjoy a picnic experience together
- Story Explorer – Kids explored a new adventure through storytelling and got inspired to create their own handicrafts
Sands China is committed to building a family-friendly workplace, where team members and their families are taken care of.
In addition to the Amazing Summer activity, the company has collaborated with the Macao Education and Youth Bureau since 2021 to promote parenting education among team members, through initiatives like Sands China’s Parenting Education Programme, which aims to enhance team members’ awareness and understanding of parent-child education.
To date, the company has organised approximately 40 on-site parenting education programmes at Sands China properties.
