Paintings by Picasso and Chagall stolen 14 years ago located in basement

Two paintings stolen in 2010 in Israel, one by Pablo Picasso and the other by Marc Chagall, were located in a basement, with special storage conditions, in the Belgian city of Antwerp.

The paintings located are “The Head”, by Picasso, and “The Man in Prayer”, by Chagall, according to Belgian media, cited by the Efe agency.

The works, stolen in February 2010 from an art collector in Tel Aviv, were located last week following an investigation carried out by the federal judicial police in Namur, in the Wallonia region.
