Huthis fire missile at US warship in Red Sea

Yemen’s Huthi rebels on Sunday fired an anti-ship cruise missile at a US destroyer in the Red Sea, but a US fighter jet shot it down, according to Washington officials.

This is the first attack by the Huthis recognized by the US after Washington and London, together with forces from other countries, bombed rebel positions on Friday and Saturday in response to attacks on merchant ships in the Red Sea.
