A farm located in Magnesia, Greece, was invaded by a herd of sheep. And, it wouldn’t be an unusual event, if the animals hadn’t eaten around 100 kilos of marijuana on site. The property, intended for the cultivation of cannabis for medicinal purposes, is close to the pasture where the sheep live and belongs to rural producer Yannis Bouronis, who was the one who ‘reported’ the invasion and the abnormal behavior of his animals.
According to local newspaper Newspaper.gr, the livestock farmer noticed different behavior in his animals after the sheep grazed in the flooded plains of Thessaly, in the center of the country, before heading to the greenhouse near the town of Almyros in search of food. According to him, the sheep “jumped higher than the goats”.
