Spain’s Hermoso files complaint over Rubiales’ kiss

According to El País, Jennifer Hermoso, a player for the Spanish national team, filed a complaint this Tuesday with the State Attorney General's Office for the kiss she received from Luis Rubiales, president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), during the celebration of the victory in the Women's World Cup.

The Public Ministry, which opened an investigation process at the end of August, had invited the athlete to take this measure. Now, it is emphasized that the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the National Court intends to file a complaint about the events “as quickly as possible”.

Rubiales kissed player Jenni Hermoso on the mouth, which the footballer later said was not consensual, contrary to what the president of the federation has stated.

Earlier, in the stadium stands, Rubiales had touched his own genitals to celebrate the Spanish victory.
