China’s foreign trade rises 0.4% in first seven months

China's total imports and exports increased by 0.4% year-on-year to 23.55 billion yuan (3.29 billion US dollars) in the first seven months of this year, official data showed on Tuesday.

Exports grew 1.5% year-on-year to 13.47 billion yuan, while imports fell 1.1% year-on-year to 10.08 billion yuan, according to the General Administration of Customs.

In July, China’s foreign trade fell 8.3% year-on-year, the data showed.
