Russia attacked Kiev with a drone early this morning, causing little damage, according to local authorities. An attack that comes as NATO leaders prepare for a summit focused on supporting Ukraine against the Moscow invasion.
“The enemy attacked Kiev from the air for the second time this month,” Kiev’s military administration said on its Telegram account.
The attack used Iranian-made Shahed explosive drones launched to the south, probably from the Russian region of Krasnodar.
“All detected air targets moving towards Kiev were destroyed by the forces and means of our air defense,” they added, without specifying how many drones were shot down.
