Brozovic joins Al Nassr and Steven Gerrard heads to Al Ettifaq: the Croatian midfielder will be Ronaldo’s colleague, the Englishman will coach a club, for now, without stars.
Brozovic’s transfer involves a value of 18 million euros for the midfielder to leave Inter Milan and become the reinforcement of Portuguese coach Luís Castro until 2026.
On the other hand, 43-year-old Gerrard has been without a club since he left Aston Villa’s coaching command. The former English international, he was also coach of Rangers, in Glasgow, where he became champion of Scotland.
TSF football commentator, Tomás da Cunha, understands that even with this investment “there will not be that much curiosity to understand what is being done in this League, because football fans essentially like clubs, not specifically players. The attention is always on the club and on the rivals, and it’s not because they have two or three figures, who are really on the other level – like Ronaldo -, but nobody will stop to watch or listen to these games, or what is going on in Arabia. Arabia,” explains Tomás da Cunha.
