The vice-president of China, Han Zheng, is going to visit Lisbon between the 7th and 10th next – from Sunday to Wednesday – after representing Beijing at the coronation ceremony of King Carlos III in the United Kingdom.
No details are yet known about the reasons for the trip or the respective agenda.
The news was advanced by the weekly Expresso.
Recently appointed by President Xi Jinping as his deputy, Han Zheng was responsible for Macao and Hong Kong affairs.
