The annual sessions of the National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference take place between Friday and Saturday. Delegates and members from Macao carry issues related to the Greater Bay Area and Macao’s regional integration, as well as youth and patriotic education, to Beijing.
The usual annual meeting of the National People’s Assembly (APN), the country’s legislative body, which has delegates from all provinces and special administrative regions, begins on Friday.
Work continues on Saturday, and at the same time, the meeting, also annual, of the national committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), an advisory body, takes place.
According to the newspaper Ou Mun, delegates and members from Macau will take to Beijing topics related to the integration of the territory in the Greater Bay and Hengqin, job opportunities for young people and the area of education.
