Two architectural projects developed by the atelier LBA – Arquitectura e Planeamento, by Rui Leão and Carlotta Bruni, won the Gold and Silver awards of the 2022 ADC [Architecture and Design Community] Awards. Gold, as well as the project for the Fai Chi Kei housing complex, while the renovation of a service building in the historic center of Macau received the Silver distinction. It should be noted that this project was recently distinguished by UNESCO.
About the ADC Awards, Rui Leão told HM that “they represent the work done by the atelier in recent years and it is a very important international recognition”, in addition to being a verification “of the architecture we produce, which shows that what we do has quality” .
