Again classifying the intervention of the authorities as a political attack, Trump used the network most appreciated by the American far right, “Truth Social”, to ask for the return of documents, seeming to want to use the network as a form of official communication with the authorities, and later claimed that three passports had been stolen from him, including an expired one.
However, the Department of Justice has already assured that it is not in possession of Donald Trump’s identification documents.
In addition to violations of the Espionage Act, Trump is also being investigated for alleged obstruction of justice and destruction of federal government records, the newspaper said after a Florida judge released documents with that information.
