The president of the Economic Commission of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Reza Purebrahimi, anticipated last week that “the planning of economic cooperation between Tehran and Moscow will be the priority of the meetings between the leaders” of Russia and Iran – which, despite recent months have been strengthening relations, have a long diplomatic history.
