World Bank makes US $ 70 million available to São Tomé and Príncipe

Rehabilitation and construction of infrastructure, as well as the recovery of the energy sector are the main projects of the São Tomé government

The World Bank will provide more than US $ 70 million to São Tomé and Príncipe between 2021 and 2023, with a view to creating jobs and development in the country.

The head of the institution in São Tomé and Príncipe, Jean Claude Tchatchouang, has already assured the Prime Minister, Jorge Bom Jesus, that cooperation will be strengthened, advances the portal Voa Português.
