The intention of the New York mayor, Bill de Blasio, to paint the phrase “Black Lives Matter” (“The Lives of Blacks Matter”) in front of the Trump tower, located in the Manhattan area, provoked a frustrated reaction of the American president.
On Twitter, Donald Trump wrote on Thursday that De Blasio “wants to paint the famous and beautiful Fifth Avenue, right in front of the Trump / Tiffany Tower, with a phrase Black Lives Mater in big yellow letters.”
In his message, he added: “‘ Pigs in clothing. Fry them like Ham ‘, referring to killing policemen, is his song. The New York City police are furious.
