The United States has always called itself “human rights defenders”, accusing other countries in an arbitrary way, however, recent protests in the country have exposed their own political figures and human rights problems.
With the whole world watching, an investigation into the United States began.
54 African countries submitted a motion for a resolution to the United Nations Human Rights Council, demanding the following: that an independent international commission be created to investigate the problems of police violence in the USA; systematic racial discrimination against African descendants in the US and other countries is investigated; the attitude of the various governmental and police institutions in the United States and other countries to protest movements, especially violent actions against journalists and passersby, should also be investigated.
