On Monday, Cristiano Ronaldo became the best Portuguese scorer ever in the Italian League, surpassing the mark established by Rui Costa. With this feat, he becomes the best Portuguese scorer in three different leagues.
Scoring a penalty in last Monday’s game against Bologna, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 43 goals in the Italian League in just 54 games. Rui Costa, a former Fiorentina and AC Milan midfielder, scored a total of 42 goals in his 12 years in the competition.
Cristiano thus reaches another impressive mark. The striker is also the best Portuguese scorer in the English League with 84, where he left in 2009, as well as the Spanish League with 311, where he left in 2018.
