Works on the Inner Harbor to reduce the risk of flooding can take more than four years and cost up to 300 million MOP (US$37.5 million), said today (Tuesday) the chairman of a Legislative Assembly (AL) oversight committee.
The President for Land Affairs and Public Concessions of the Legislative Assembly, Ella Lei, said that the information was provided by representatives of the Macau government, given the complexity of the work to be done, which could cause costs to rise between MOP200 and MOP300 million.
Legislator Ella Lei Cheng I said that this was the forecast put forward by Government representatives at the meeting to monitor plans and the construction of public works for the prevention and reduction of disasters.
