Meeting was scheduled for June but was postponed due to the pandemic
In a victory for the Bolsonaro government, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, invited Brazil to participate in this year’s G7 summit. The announcement was made by President Jair Bolsonaro on Twitter.
The group brings together the largest economies in the western world (USA, Germany, Canada, France, the United Kingdom and Italy) and Japan. The Americans will host the 2020 meeting.
